Where's Gregg?
On most, if not all, of my long-distance rides, I carry a SPOT GPS tracker. When on and tracking it will update a Google Map every 10 minutes with my location. These two links will take you to the tracking page. Regular (long) Spot URL or the (short) TinyURL version.
Hello, I’m Johnny Cash… No, not really. My name is Gregg Lenentine and I reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I set up this blog ostensibly to discuss long distance motorcycle riding and as a place to post my thoughts, plans, and completed long distance rides. I am not very dedicated to this blogging thing so there are gaps in time (big ones). I guess I just don’t feel like my prattling is of any use to anybody. However, if I am wrong, I hope you find something beneficial here and that will help you with your planning.
My best tomorrow to all those serving in our military keeping us safe, and to all those that have served, and especially to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice.
Right back at you Gregg. Today is a day to remember and honor those who made the sacrifice that has made our freedom possible. A day that people will be out enjoying themselves through a varity of events and activities, unknown to others throughout the world who do not know the freedoms we know, and which would not be possible had it not been for the brave men and women who have selflessly given of themselves in the defense of our great nation. Remember what you always told me on those long rides were we would ride for hours through the middle of nowhere, arrive at some greasy spoon cafe then ride back: its not the destination in life, its the journey. -Angie Sacha and Adam
