Sitting in Bojangle's in western VA eating a chicken salad. I haven't eaten much the last two days, mainly trail mix, power bars, and delicious beef jerky (thanks Tim).
This trip so far has been very hard going. Lots of construction, backups, accidents, rain (all day long on the first day), and fog. I have been napping in parking lots where it is safe. I am getting a room tonight.
I forgot to mention that there is another way to track me besides findmespot. Go to spotwalla.com/tripViewer.php/id=5485 - you may like this one better.

Sounds like tough going, but you're making it happen! I have always believed that endurance riding is 25% physical and 75% mental (with a bit of mechanical thrown in!) Keep it up. I'm jealous and looking forward to following in your footsteps!
ReplyDeleteHey Bro, what happened to Florida
ReplyDeleteSounds like a ride of a lifetime - one I want to do in a couple of years
ReplyDeleteI couldn't get the spotwalla link to work
Gregg,
ReplyDeleteThe spotwalla link doesn't seem to be working. I've been following your progress all week. Good luck.

Gregg, It's 3:30 a.m. I have tracked you for the last 200 miles using both the Spot URL and Spotwalla links (upper left side of this page)and both seem to be working fine. Continue to ride safely. Will check back later.

Looks like you pulled into a rest area at 3:10 a.m. for some much needed rest. I briefed the HROT riders on your progress when I was at Honda yesterday morning. They all wished you well. Will check back to see how you are doing later tonight.

Gregg, The only good thing about working midnights is that I get to track your progress throughout the night. Hope thats not considered "CYBER STALKING"(lol). Keep the wheels rolling.
